Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
• (i) The incorrect item was received in terms of colour, size or model (proof is required);
• (ii) The item is defective or in extremely poor quality (proof is required), or
• (iii) The estimated delivery time of the order has expired.
2. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
• (i) Any product showing signs of usage (proof is required);
• (ii) Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not attributed to the original manufacturer or supplier (proof is required),
Returning your item(s)
To return an item that meets the criteria set out at point 1(i), 1(ii), 2(i), 2(ii) or 2(iii) above, you must ensure that the item is unused and/or in the same condition that you received it. Furthermore, the item must be in the original packaging. Please note that we will require a receipt or proof of purchase along with your returned item in order to process the refund.

Notification for EU consumers: According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for:
1. the supply of goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized;
2. sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and thus aren't suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons,
Therefore, the House of Mary Alison reserves rights to refuse returns to EU consumers under the above conditions.
Procedure on receipt of returned item(s)
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email within 7 working days, to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you whether your return has been approved or rejected and the amount due to be refunded.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 working days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If neither your bank nor credit card company are unable to trace the refund payment, please contact us at email@example.com.
Exchanges (if applicable)
Please note that only defective or damaged items will be replaced. If you require an item to be exchanged like for like, please notify us in the first instance by email. Please note that if you wish to exchange an item that was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, a gift credit for the value of your item will be given in return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be issued to you at your chosen address.
If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves and then later passed the gift to you, we will send a refund to the gift giver and notify the gift giver of such.
Shipping your returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Please note that the initial costs of shipping your order to you are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time, it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you are advised to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. As your chosen shipping service is out of our hands and we are not in position to guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
