At this time, we would encourage every reader to pray over the situation in Ukraine.
We are reminded of a time in history,1940 to be precise, when King George VI called the nation to prayer. This was a critical situation when the British Army was trapped at Dunkirk and faced annihilation. The Lord answered these prayers and over 300,000 soldiers were successfully evacuated to safety. All glory be to God.
So much can happen when we call out to God in prayer.
We are reminded in 2 Chronicles 7:14:' If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land'.
Please let us take some time today to pray for the safety of those who are trapped and trying to flee to safety, especially for those who are too ill or frail to move quickly.
Pray for divine provision for those who remain in Ukraine.
Pray for the peace of the nations.
